Personal Injury Solicitor

Hot Job

  • Handle a high-quality EL/PL caseload with a steady flow of work from a trusted referral source
  • Hybrid working with flexibility tailored around you and genuine long-term career progression
  • Join one of the few remaining independent claimant PI firms where people come before corporate targets

If you’re an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor looking for quality claimant work within a genuinely supportive team, this could be the move you’ve been waiting for.

You’ll join an established department handling a varied caseload of predominantly Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims, alongside Occupiers’ Liability and Road Traffic Accident matters. With a consistent pipeline of work already in place, you’ll be able to focus on progressing cases and delivering excellent outcomes rather than worrying about generating new instructions.

From day one, you’ll manage your own caseload of around 100–125 files, supported by an experienced and collaborative team. During your first year, you’ll build strong relationships with clients, develop your litigation expertise and establish yourself as a trusted member of the department. Longer term, you’ll have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as your career progresses, with a firm that actively recognises and rewards high performers.

What really makes this opportunity stand out is the culture. Despite its success, the firm has retained the feel of an independent practice where people know one another, enjoy working together and genuinely support each other. It’s a down-to-earth environment with no unnecessary corporate politics, where quality work and client care always come first.

Who we’re looking for

  • Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ years’ PQE
  • Strong experience managing a claimant EL/PL caseload independently
  • Experience handling RTA and Occupiers’ Liability claims
  • Confident progressing matters from instruction through to settlement
  • Excellent litigation, negotiation and client care skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Collaborative, approachable and looking to build a long-term career
  • Experience handling multi-track matters (desirable)

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing your own caseload of Employer’s Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers’ Liability and RTA claims
  • Progressing claims from instruction through to settlement
  • Delivering exceptional client care throughout the claims process
  • Meeting agreed billing and case progression targets
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, experts and counsel
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive Personal Injury team
  • Contributing to the continued success and reputation of the department

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary depending on experience
  • Performance-related bonus for exceeding targets
  • Hybrid working (currently 2 days from home, with plans to increase to 3)
  • Flexible working arrangements tailored to individual needs
  • Free on-site parking
  • Genuine long-term career progression
  • Stable flow of quality claimant work
  • Friendly, collaborative and non-corporate working environment
