Are you an ambitious Private Client Solicitor looking to progress your career with a highly regarded national law firm?
This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Associate Solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE to join an established team in Manchester city centre.
You’ll advise HNW individuals, trustees, landowners and entrepreneurs on sophisticated estate planning, succession and tax matters, collaborating with colleagues across Real Estate, Corporate and Family teams.
Working alongside experienced Private Client Partners, you’ll develop your own caseload, build long-term client relationships and benefit from excellent professional development opportunities.

Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Private Client Solicitor with 1+ PQE, ideally 1–3 PQE (E)
- Private Client experience, ideally within a large regional or City firm (E)
- Strong estate planning, trusts and taxation knowledge (E)
- Experience advising HNW individuals and trustees (E)
- Ability to manage files and financial responsibilities (E)
- Excellent communication and legal research skills (E)
- Commercially aware, practical approach (E)
- Strong client relationship skills (E)
- Organised, proactive and collaborative (E)
- STEP Diploma completed or in progress (D)
- Interest in emerging legal technology and AI (D)
What you’ll be doing
- Advising on estate and succession planning
- Handling inheritance and capital gains tax planning
- Drafting complex wills
- Advising trustees on powers and duties
- Creating and administering trusts
- Advising on family investment companies
- Managing your own Private Client caseload
- Building client and intermediary relationships
- Collaborating with specialist departments
- Managing billing and financial performance
