We’re looking for a Private Client Director to join and potentially head up a highly regarded team in Sheffield.
Following movement at the top of the department, this is a unique opportunity to step into a senior role within a Tier 2 Legal 500-ranked practice.
Whether you’re keen to take on a leadership position or prefer to focus as a senior technical fee earner, this is a chance to work with high-quality HNW and complex private client matters at one of Sheffield’s leading firms.
Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive with at least 6 PQE
- Demonstrable experience of high-net-worth estate and trust work
- Proven ability in wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection
- Track record of business development and building client relationships
- Excellent drafting, communication and client care skills
- Organised, detail-focused and able to lead or support a team
- STEP qualified
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a caseload of complex wills, probate, HNW estate and trust administration, and LPA matters
- Act as a senior technical expert or Head of Department, depending on your career goals
- Work alongside the Private Client Operations Director on BD initiatives and wider business objectives
- Provide supervision and support where needed across the team
- Build relationships with HNW clients and professional referrers
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
- Hours: Full time, part time considered
- Flexible working: Hybrid, with two days from home per week
- Holiday: 30 days + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown
