Who we’re looking for
- 5+ PQE in Private Client
- Broad experience across wills, LPAs, probate and estate administration
- Ability to step into an existing caseload confidently and autonomously
- Comfortable supporting and developing junior colleagues
- Strong client-care skills and confidence with community-based/walk-in clients
- Warm, approachable and aligned with a close-knit, family-style culture
- Trusts experience (Desired)
This role would suit someone ambitious who wants progression.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and stabilising the Private Client department
- Managing a varied caseload
- Providing technical oversight and leadership to a small team
- Supporting the development of a paralegal and associate
- Helping shape workflow and rebuild the department to a 4-person structure
- Engaging in light-touch BD through community presence and natural referrals
There is no heavy supervision burden, just steady, supportive leadership required.
