If you’re an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for more influence, greater responsibility and a genuine opportunity to shape a growing department, this role offers exactly that.
You’ll join an expanding team with significant investment behind it and a clear vision for future growth. Managing a high-quality caseload that includes trusts, tax planning, probate, estate administration, wills and LPAs, you’ll advise a growing number of high-net-worth individuals while helping to develop one of the firm’s fastest-growing practice areas.
Trust work forms a significant part of the department, so you’ll have the opportunity to build on your existing expertise while working on increasingly complex matters. Alongside your own caseload, you’ll play an important role in supporting junior lawyers as the team continues to expand, with a genuine opportunity to progress into a future Head of Department position.

Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE
- Extensive experience managing complex Private Client matters
- Strong trusts experience (essential)
- Experience advising high-net-worth clients
- STEP qualified or working towards STEP (desirable)
- Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
- Interest in mentoring junior lawyers
- Full driving licence and willingness to attend client visits
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a varied Private Client caseload
- Advising on trusts, tax planning, wills, probate and estate administration
- Supporting high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners
- Mentoring junior members of the team
- Helping shape the continued growth of the department
- Meeting clients in their homes, hospitals and care settings where required
- Building long-term client relationships and maintaining exceptional client care
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary depending on experience
- Bonus scheme:
- 10% of billings above 3x salary
- 20% of billings above 4x salary
