Due to expansion, we are working with a multi-award-winning law firm in Birmingham to recruit a private client lawyer (qualified solicitor or legal executive) for its growing team.  

This highly respected, Legal 500 team consists of two partners, several senior associates and solicitors, paralegals and secretaries. As the team numbers 25 in total and is relatively light in terms of senior figures, there is plenty of room for progression – the firm makes promotions annually.  

The firm has been shortlisted for, and won, an array of awards, including at the Birmingham Law Society Awards.  

You’ll enjoy very reasonable and achievable targets, working for experienced private client lawyers who can coach and assist you with your caseload. Plus, you’ll enjoy plenty of secretarial and admin support on your files. 
 
You’ll be comfortable with a wide range of private client work, including probate and administration of estates, Trusts, post-death variations, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills and Court of Protection work – although your caseload will be 80% estate administration and only 20% Trust/LPA/deputyship work.  

The firm likes to play to people’s strengths and there is a large enough team to be able to filter your preferred work type to you.
