Looking for high-quality Private Client work without the pressures that often come with larger city firms?
This opportunity has arisen because there is a need for a strong mid-level lawyer to help support an exceptionally busy team. Work is currently being redistributed to other offices simply because there aren’t enough fee earners in Ripon to handle demand.
You’ll inherit an established caseload from day one, work with long-standing local clients, and join the firm’s largest and most profitable department.
There is no expectation to bring work with you; just focus on delivering great client care and high-quality legal advice.
Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE
- Experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters independently
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, LPAs and trusts
- Excellent client communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Organised, efficient and proactive approach
- Experience working with HNW clients (Desired)
- STEP qualification (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a varied Private Client caseload
- Supporting senior lawyers and helping reduce pressure on partner-level colleagues
- Building relationships with an established client base
- Delivering exceptional client care and responsiveness
- Maintaining strong billing performance
- Supporting junior team members where appropriate
