Private Client Senior Lawyer

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to play a key role in the growth of a well-established regional firm in Sheffield.

This role offers the chance to step into an already strong and busy department handling high-quality probate work.

Who we’re looking for

• 10+ years’ Private Client experience
• Strong probate and estate administration background
• Proven billing track record
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in business development and referrer growth
• Commercially aware, collaborative and hands-on
• Trusts and/or Court of Protection experience (Desired)
• STEP qualified (Desired)
• Experience dealing with HNW clients (Desired)

What you’ll be doing

• Managing your own probate-heavy caseload (wills & LPAs included)
• Supporting and supervising junior team members
• Building internal referral relationships with property, litigation and corporate teams
• Developing relationships with IFAs, accountants and other local referrers
• Contributing to the strategic growth of the department
• Leading an established probate-focused team
• Taking pressure off senior leadership across multiple offices
• Building a strong leadership presence

Over time, there is scope to develop lifetime planning, Trusts and Court of Protection capability and to play a meaningful role in long-term succession planning.
