Private Client Senior Lawyer
Hot Job
- Rare chance to build and shape a growing private client offering rather than inherit a static role
- Probate-heavy caseload with strong internal referrals and genuine long-term leadership potential
- 35-hour week, supportive culture and real investment in people, systems and progression
This is a senior private client opportunity for a lawyer who wants more influence, more autonomy and the chance to genuinely shape the future of a growing department.
Based in Mansfield, you’ll step into a key senior role within an expanding private client team. This an ideal move for someone who enjoys building, mentoring and developing something long term.
You’ll manage a varied caseload focused primarily on probate and estate administration, alongside wills, LPAs, inheritance tax planning and some trusts and Court of Protection work. There’s also strong appetite within the firm to continue growing its lifetime planning and trusts offering, giving you scope to help shape the direction of the department over time.
Alongside fee earning, you’ll play an important role supporting and mentoring junior team members while helping strengthen relationships with local referrers including IFAs, accountants and other professionals. The wider department has an excellent reputation for progression and development, with several senior lawyers having progressed internally through the business over many years.
The culture is collaborative, practical and refreshingly down-to-earth. People are encouraged to support one another, there’s strong investment in training and systems, and the environment is built around long-term careers rather than short-term targets or politics.
