This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client solicitor to join a well-established but forward-thinking firm at a genuinely exciting point of growth. You’ll be joining a close-knit, collaborative team where quality work, client care and long-term progression are taken seriously.
You’ll work alongside a highly regarded senior private client lawyer. This hire is about adding strength, balance and future leadership into the team, not just filling a gap.
For the right person, there is a genuine long-term opportunity to progress into senior leadership and even join the Board as the firm continues with its plans to double in size over the next two years.
Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE
- Strong experience across the full range of private client work, including Wills, LPAs, Probate and Court of Protection
- Proven ability to bill and work to targets
- Bright, capable and aspirational, with a genuine care for client work
- Comfortable handling complex matters as well as day-to-day private client work
- Ambitious and driven, with an interest in progression and development
- A positive personality who will fit into a supportive, close-knit team
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a varied private client caseload, including:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Court of Protection work
- Advising a mix of local and high-net-worth clients
- Working to agreed billing targets and maintaining strong financial discipline
- Delivering clear, compassionate and practical advice to clients
- Supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the private client team
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department
- Playing a key role in strengthening the team as the firm expands
