Private Family & Legal Aid Solicitor
- Handle a broad mix of private family and legal aid work within a growing Legal 500-recognised team
- Hybrid working, birthday leave, life admin days and a genuine focus on work-life balance
- Build your career in a supportive department with clear opportunities to progress and develop
Not every family law role gives you the chance to build breadth as well as depth.
This opportunity offers a varied caseload spanning both private family and legal aid work, allowing you to develop across divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, domestic abuse and public-funded cases while working alongside an experienced, collaborative team.
From day one, you’ll take ownership of your own caseload while becoming part of a department that’s continuing to grow. As you settle in, you’ll build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and referrers, gaining the autonomy to manage your files while still having experienced lawyers around you to share ideas, discuss strategy and offer support when needed.
Longer term, there’s scope to become much more than a fee earner. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to the development of the department and play a bigger role in its future growth, all within a firm that genuinely invests in its people rather than expecting them to simply hit billing targets.
If you’re looking for a firm where you’ll be recognised as part of the team, not just another name on a spreadsheet, this could be the move you’re looking for.
