Looking for a leadership role without the politics, isolation or pressure of building a department from scratch?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a dedicated Wills & Lifetime Planning team within a highly regarded Private Client practice.
You’ll lead a small team, manage your own caseload and act as a technical sounding board on more complex matters, all while benefiting from the support of a wider, experienced Private Client department.
With a strong internal referral network already in place, you’ll be able to focus on delivering excellent client service, developing your team and helping shape the future of a growing specialist function.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
- Strong experience handling wills and LPAs
- Experience with complex estate planning matters
- Leadership or supervisory experience (Desired)
- Ability to manage and delegate work effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Private practice background
- Collaborative, approachable and organised personality
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting a team of two fee earners
- Managing a caseload of wills, LPAs and estate planning matters
- Delegating work from an established triage system
- Providing technical guidance on complex matters
- Acting as an escalation point for team queries
- Working closely with the wider Private Client team across the firm
- Helping refine processes and develop the team’s offering
