Price Slater Gawne was first established in 2010 as Price and Slater. After working together for several years at a leading national firm, Victoria Price and Mark Slater decided they wanted to find a better way to help their clients and set up their own law firm.
In 2012, clinical negligence solicitor Chris Gawne joined the firm and the firm became Price Slater Gawne. Since then, the firm has continued to evolve and later in 2012, was recognised as a leading firm for clinical negligence claims by Chambers and Partners.
Price Slater Gawne has grown into one of the largest claimant clinical negligence teams in the North West and also has established family, private client and Court Protection departments.
The firm work hard to ensure that it provides the highest level of service to its clients. A number of its clinical negligence and family lawyers have been accredited by the Law Society and two members of the family team hold Resolution membership.
Working as a consultant lawyer at Price Slater Gawne
In recent years, Price Slater Gawne has taken on several self-employed consultant solicitors, offering ambitious lawyers the freedom and flexibility to manage their own work and service their own clients.
This way of working is particularly attractive to experienced solicitors who would like to do away with office politics, micromanagement and unnecessary commutes yet benefit from the support and set up and remuneration of a modern law firm.
