Through Legal Job Coach, we’ll provide you with guidance and information on topics ranging from how to develop your personal brand, CVs, interviews, and career progression. We’ll also give tips on how junior lawyers can take care of their mental health and wellbeing at work.
Legal Job Coach is the brainchild of our director (and law graduate) Duane who, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, wanted to make it easier for graduates and paralegals to navigate the competitive jobs market.
We hope that the subscription-based service will help those at the beginning of their legal career to better understand the kinds of opportunities on offer and the various paths their career might take. There will be an emphasis on non-commercial legal practice areas commonly ignored by law school careers advisors such as private client, personal injury and family as well as information about alternative routes to qualification such as CILEX.
Duane will be delivering live and pre-recorded webinars, blogs and other online content through the Legal Job Coach website:
“As a law graduate myself, who was disillusioned by traditional legal career advice focusing on international or magic circle law firms, I want to tell the other side of the story. I set up LegalJobCoach.com to help graduates and junior lawyers understand the vast range of opportunities that are available to them within non-commercial practice areas and other types of law firms.
LegalJobCoach.com will provide an insight into what’s it’s like to work at specialist boutiques, high street practices and both regional and national firms, and help aspiring lawyers take the steps they need to secure a rewarding role and a fulfilling career.”
LegalJobCoach.com is launching on Friday 23rd October. To learn more and to sign-up to our waiting list, visit https://bit.ly/3iSzkxu.
