Clinical Negligence Team Leader

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Grade B Clinical Negligence Solicitor (or above) to step into a team leader role within one of the most respected practices in the region.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, working directly with a highly experienced Head of Department, while enjoying a high degree of flexibility and autonomy.
Who we’re looking for
- Grade B level Clinical Negligence Solicitor or CILEX
- Minimum of 3 PQE, ideally 5+ PQE
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting junior lawyers
- Strong claimant clinical negligence background with high-value case exposure
- Personable, approachable, and able to provide constructive feedback
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and case management skills
What you’ll be doing
- Lead a team of solicitors and support staff within the Clinical Negligence department
- Manage your own caseload of clinical negligence cases, with exposure to higher-value work
- Oversee quality, compliance, and performance within the team
- Provide support, mentorship, and guidance to junior lawyers and paralegals
- Contribute to the department’s ongoing success and reputation for excellence
- Report directly to the Head of Department
