Are you a Clinical Negligence Solicitor looking for high-quality work, genuine client contact and a clear route to progress your career?

Alderstone Solicitors is growing its Clinical Negligence department and is looking for a 1–6 PQE Solicitor to join its specialist team in Salford.

You’ll manage around 15 cases of your own while working alongside experienced senior lawyers on more complex, high-value matters. The team handles a broad range of claims, including brain and spinal injuries, surgical negligence, delayed and missed diagnoses, GP negligence and birth injuries.

Unlike environments where junior lawyers have limited client exposure, you’ll be encouraged to build relationships with clients and their families from the outset. Complex cases are handled collaboratively, with Partners, Solicitors, NQs and Paralegals working together as a team.

Who we’re looking for

• Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 1–6 years’ PQE (E)
• Experience handling quality Clinical Negligence matters (E)
• Strong understanding of relevant law and procedure (E)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (E)
• Strong attention to detail (E)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (E)
• Empathetic, client-focused approach (E)
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively (E)

• Understanding of GDPR and AML requirements (E)

• Managing around 15 of your own cases

• Reviewing medical records and liability
• Preparing schedules of loss
• Negotiating with third parties
• Attending conferences and hearings
• Meeting clients and their families
• Conducting progress reviews
• Supporting junior team members

• Supporting partner charities

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000–£60,000 depending on experience
