This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a growing disputes team with a strong reputation for developing ambitious junior lawyers into future senior leaders.

You’ll work closely with experienced Partners and Senior Associates on a broad range of commercial disputes, gaining exposure to complex and high-value litigation while gradually building your own caseload. The team handles everything from contested debt recovery and breach of contract claims through to shareholder disputes, restrictive covenants, regulatory litigation and large-scale multi-party disputes.

This role offers a genuine chance to accelerate your development in a collaborative, supportive environment where learning through involvement is actively encouraged. You won’t be left to sink or swim, instead, you’ll receive regular supervision, open-door Partner support and early exposure to sophisticated litigation work.

Who we’re looking for

• Qualified Solicitor in Commercial Litigation
• Strong litigation grounding through training contract seat or NQ role
• Experience of disputed matters, drafting and court procedures
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
• Organised and capable of managing competing priorities
• Ambitious, proactive and eager to develop
• Collaborative and engaged team player
• Candidates from high-volume or purely process-led litigation backgrounds are unlikely to be suitable

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting Partners and Senior Associates on complex commercial litigation matters
• Managing your own developing caseload of lower-complexity disputes
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence and court documents
• Advising clients and handling day-to-day client communication
• Supporting case preparation alongside Counsel
• Attending court where appropriate
• Assisting with shareholder disputes, restrictive covenants and regulatory matters
• Managing WIP, billing and financial exposure on matters
• Contributing to business development activities including articles and marketing content
• Supporting cross-referral opportunities across the wider firm

• Salary £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
