Court of Protection Solicitor
- Join a close-knit Court of Protection team with excellent retention and a genuinely supportive culture
- Handle meaningful Property & Affairs work helping vulnerable clients and their families day-to-day
- Hybrid working with structured progression, strong supervision and long-term career development
This is the kind of Court of Protection team people tend to stay in.
The department has grown steadily due to increasing demand, with work largely coming from a well-established clinical negligence pipeline. Despite being part of a larger firm, the Manchester team has kept a genuinely close-knit and collegiate feel, with deputies, solicitors and paralegals all working collaboratively on matters together.
You’ll join a specialist Court of Protection team handling Property & Affairs work for vulnerable clients who lack capacity to manage their own financial affairs. The role combines technical work with highly personal client care, supporting individuals and families through sensitive and often life-changing situations.
You’ll manage your own caseload while assisting Deputies on more complex matters, with regular supervision and strong support from the wider team. This is a particularly good opportunity for someone early in their Court of Protection career who wants proper development in a team known for its retention and supportive culture.
