Are you a Family Solicitor ready to join one of the most respected family teams in the North West?

This is your opportunity to step into a dynamic team where your unique strengths are recognised and supported, whether your ambitions lie in people management, business development, or complex casework.

The team handles some of the region’s most high-value, high-profile family matters, and you’ll benefit from direct access to senior leadership, ongoing mentorship, and career progression that’s designed around you.

Who we’re looking for

  • Qualified Solicitor (ideally 3–5 PQE) with strong family law experience
  • Background in divorce and finance work, ideally from a quality-focused or Legal 500 firm
  • Keen to progress into people management or BD leadership in future
  • Confident handling complex and HNW family cases independently
  • Business development skills and experience essential
  • Mentorship or supervision experience (desirable)
  • Strong work ethic and team-focused mindset
  • Personable, collaborative, and enthusiastic

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage your own family caseload (divorce, finance, or private children work)
  • Work as part of a close-knit team in Liverpool and Chester, with support from experienced colleagues across the wider business
  • Get involved in business development and networking opportunities
  • Mentor junior members of the team as your role develops
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers on complex, ultra-HNW matters
  • Contribute to the growth of the team’s regional presence
  • Hybrid working – 2 days from home once settled in

Salary & Benefits

  • Top-of-market salary, dependent on experience
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas closure
  • Private healthcare and life insurance
  • Free on-site healthy snacks and wellbeing initiatives (e.g., yoga sessions)
  • Clearly defined route to Salaried Partner
  • Hybrid working: 2 days WFH following initial office-based period
