We’re excited to bring to the market this fantastic opportunity for a family solicitor with between three and ten years’ PQE to join a successful, multi-service firm in York.

Following a recent acquisition, the firm is looking for someone to come in help develop the family offering in its brand-new office in York.

You’ll have the chance to make your mark and grow the department through business development, but if you’d like to focus on fee-earning instead that’s absolutely fine – you’ll have the freedom to make the role your own.

You will advise on a mixed caseload of private children and divorce and finance cases, including complex, HNW cases (no legal aid).

You’ll be able to work at least two days a week from home. You’ll also be able to adjust your hours around your family life or other personal commitments and enjoy a really healthy work-life balance.

You’ll benefit from a clear progression path tailored to you and what your goals are. If you’d like to progress to partnership later down the line, this will be an option for you.

And, if you thought this role couldn’t get any better, you’ll also benefit from zero chargeable hours targets, meaning you can fully concentrate on providing the best legal advice and service to your clients.

The firm will also consider part-time applicants, making this role the perfect position for anyone returning from a period of leave and looking for enhanced flexibility.
