This is a fantastic opportunity for a Family Solicitor to join a well-established, down-to-earth team in Wakefield.
You’ll support senior lawyers on complex cases, gradually build your own caseload, and benefit from a clear and transparent progression framework.
The family department is proud of its supportive culture, low turnover, and strong client reviews. The team meets quarterly in person and works collaboratively across multiple offices, ensuring you’re never short of support or opportunities to develop.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Family Solicitor, NQ–3 PQE
- Experience in divorce, finance, and private children work
- Advocacy experience
- Strong academics and training background
- Down-to-earth, collaborative, and resilient personality
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting senior lawyers on complex divorce, finance, and private children cases
- Building and running your own caseload over time
- Taking part in advocacy (if you have experience or want to develop in this area)
- Delivering high-quality client service with attention to detail
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £30,000–£40,000 (DOE)
- Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
- 26 days holiday (increasing with service, up to 35)

- Support with development, including STEP if desired
