If you’re a newly qualified to 3 PQE Care Solicitor looking for more than just another caseload, this could be the perfect next step.

You’ll join a busy and expanding team handling public law children matters, working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to supporting your development.

The role offers plenty of advocacy, client contact and responsibility, whilst giving you the backing of a collaborative team that genuinely invests in its people.

Who we’re looking for

  • NQ–3 PQE Solicitor with childcare law experience
  • Experience representing parents or children in care proceedings and PLO matters
  • Ability to manage your own caseload and pick up matters at different stages
  • Strong advocacy skills
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Understanding of legal aid eligibility and funding (Desired)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, proactive and team-focused approach 


What you’ll be doing

  • Representing parents and children in public law care proceedings
  • Advising clients throughout the PLO process
  • Conducting advocacy and attending court hearings
  • Managing your own caseload from instruction to conclusion
  • Delivering high standards of client care
  • Supporting business development and team growth initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department
