This isn’t a volume-driven Newly Qualified Court of Protection role where you’re hidden behind process.

You’ll work closely with vulnerable clients and their families, helping manage deputyship and trust matters that genuinely impact people’s quality of life following serious injury or negligence. The work is varied, sensitive and highly rewarding, with strong support from an experienced and growing team.

You’ll run your own caseload of Deputyship and PI Trust matters while supervising junior team members and supporting wider team development. The role includes direct client contact, home and care visits, budgeting and financial management work, and collaboration with financial advisers and other professionals.

Who we’re looking for

  • NQ–2 PQE Court of Protection Solicitor
  • Experience in property & affairs deputyship work and PI trusts
  • Comfortable managing your own caseload
  • Empathetic communicator with strong client care skills
  • Organised, proactive and resilient
  • Keen to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment


What you’ll be doing

  • Managing Deputyship and PI Trust matters
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts and Court of Protection applications
  • Visiting clients at home, in hospital or care settings
  • Liaising with financial advisers and other professionals
  • Supervising junior team members where appropriate
  • Supporting team training, meetings and development activity
