• £40,000–£55,000 plus monthly bonus potential

Are you an experienced OL/EL/PL Solicitor or Fee Earner looking for quality claimant work, strong litigation exposure and the opportunity to join a growing PI practice?

This claimant-focused firm has a nationally recognised Personal Injury offering and Law Society PI accreditation. Following continued growth, the firm is creating a new position within its OL/EL/PL department.

You’ll take ownership of an established caseload of around 160–180 matters, handling claims from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to develop your litigation expertise while working within a growing department with a strong pipeline of claimant work.

Who we’re looking for

• At least 2 years’ OL/EL/PL experience (E)
• SQE or CILEX qualified (E)
• Strong knowledge of OL, EL and PL claims (E)
• Ability to run claims from inception to trial (E)
• Strong litigation experience (E)
• Excellent client care skills (E)
• Strong written and verbal communication (E)
• Confidence using case management systems (E)
• Proclaim experience (D)

What you’ll be doing

• Managing around 160–180 OL/EL/PL claims
• Running files from instruction to settlement or trial
• Investigating liability and quantum
• Reviewing medical and expert evidence
• Taking and reviewing witness evidence
• Negotiating with insurers and defendants
• Advising clients on litigation strategy
• Maintaining regular client communication
• Ensuring CPR and protocol compliance
• Working towards an annual £300,000 costs target

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000–£55,000 depending on experience
• 10% monthly bonus on billings above the £25,000 costs target
• 25 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays
