A respected Yorkshire law firm is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing private family law team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a caseload of divorce, finance and private children work from a strong foundation, without the distractions of legal aid.
You’ll be stepping into a newly restructured department with a blank canvas to shape your own practice. With marketing and business development support and a growing number of referrals, you’ll have the autonomy to develop your name in the local private family market and drive the team’s future growth.
You’ll work alongside a supportive director who values open communication, collaboration and court advocacy, and who’ll give you the space and encouragement to thrive.
Who we’re looking for
- 5+ PQE solicitor with a strong background in private family law
- Experienced in handling divorce, finance and private children matters
- Confident and proactive in business development and networking
- Highly organised, commercially aware and a great communicator
- Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to grow a department
- Friendly, empathetic and driven to deliver excellent client care
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 from home
- 25 days’ holiday, increasing to 30 with service, plus your birthday off
- Individual and team bonus (paid annually in February)
