Personal Injury Solicitor
- Personal Injury Solicitor role focused on asbestos-related disease claims
- Work predominantly on mesothelioma matters within a nationally recognised specialist team
- Hybrid working, strong progression prospects and genuinely meaningful work
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected specialist litigation team handling some of the most complex and sensitive personal injury claims in the country.
From day one, you’ll step into an existing caseload of asbestos-related disease matters, the majority of which are mesothelioma claims. The work is specialist, technical and deeply client-focused, representing individuals and families affected by life-changing illness. The emphasis here is on doing the right thing, for clients, for communities, and for colleagues.
You’ll be supported as you settle in, but trusted to take real ownership of your files, build strong client relationships, and develop into a confident specialist in this niche area of claimant work.

- Experience handling asbestos-related disease claims
- Strong technical ability in disease litigation
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
- Mesothelioma experience (Desired)
- Claimant personal injury or industrial disease background (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing an existing caseload of asbestos-related disease claims, predominantly mesothelioma
- Running files day-to-day with appropriate supervision initially, progressing to full autonomy
- Meeting clients and taking detailed witness statements
- Preparing instructions to medical and other experts
- Drafting schedules of loss and damage
- Reviewing medical records and evidence
- Handling CFAs and funding arrangements
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, experts and colleagues
Over time, there is scope to take on more complex and higher-value matters and, depending on experience, support or mentor junior colleagues within the team.
