  • Top-of-market salary for this level, reflecting the complexity and value of the work
  • Join a top-tier national team handling complex, high-value and multi-track claims
  • Work predominantly from home, with typically only 1–2 days per week in the office

If you’re a Personal Injury Solicitor who wants the calibre of work and career platform that comes with a top-tier national practice, without giving up the flexibility of remote working, this role deserves a closer look.
You’ll join one of the country’s largest and most highly regarded specialist teams, handling complex, high-value litigation including multi-track matters. You’ll manage your own caseload while working alongside nationally recognised lawyers on some of the team’s most challenging cases.

Crucially, you don’t need to already work within the team’s particular specialism. The firm is interested in strong claimant personal injury lawyers and will provide the training and senior support you need to make the transition successfully.

With a salary at the top end of the market, substantial home working and the backing of a major national firm, it offers an unusual combination of financial reward, flexibility and quality of work.

Who we’re looking for

  • Personal Injury Solicitor with approximately 1–5 years’ PQE
  • Strong claimant personal injury litigation experience
  • Experience managing your own litigated caseload
  • Exposure to complex, high-value or multi-track claims
  • Excellent drafting, legal research and litigation skills
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with Partners and senior colleagues
  • Comfortable supporting clients and families through complex and sensitive claims
  • Interest in business development and developing professional relationships (Desired)

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing your own caseload of complex personal injury litigation
  • Handling high-value and multi-track claims
  • Supporting senior specialists on particularly complex matters
  • Developing your technical expertise within a top-tier national practice
  • Drafting pleadings, witness evidence and other legal documentation
  • Progressing litigated matters strategically and efficiently
  • Providing clear and empathetic advice to clients and their families
  • Working collaboratively with senior lawyers and colleagues nationally
  • Developing relationships with clients, referrers and other professional contacts

Salary & Benefits

  • Top-of-market salary for this level
  • Predominantly remote working, typically with just 1–2 days per week in the Manchester or Sheffield office
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Option to purchase additional annual leave
  • Generous and flexible pension
  • Two fully paid volunteering days each year
  • Health membership providing support towards medical costs
  • Extensive wellbeing initiatives
  • Strong training and development support
  • Opportunity to build your expertise alongside nationally recognised lawyers
  • Long-term progression within a major national practice
  • Inclusive working environment with established colleague networks and responsible business programmes
