This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a growing boutique estate planning practice based in Leeds.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys the practical side of private client work and wants to build a long-term career as a paralegal rather than pursuing a qualification as a solicitor.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience working as a Private Client Paralegal
- Experience drafting Wills
- Experience drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Experience assisting with probate matters
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate legal documents
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable supporting both legal work and administrative tasks
- Friendly, down-to-earth personality who enjoys working in a small team
- Someone who intends to build a long-term career as a paralegal
- Exposure to Court of Protection work (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Assisting with probate matters and estate administration
- Supporting Court of Protection work where required
- Preparing client correspondence and legal documentation
- Providing reliable legal and administrative support across private client files
- Ensuring documents are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Supporting the founder with the day-to-day running of files
Within your first six months, you’ll take ownership of key administrative and drafting tasks while helping reduce the founder’s administrative workload. Over time, you’ll become a trusted support within the business as the private client practice continues to grow.
