Private Client Paralegal
- £27,000 with scope up to £30,000 for an exceptional applicant, plus fee earner bonus
- Develop a genuine specialism in Administration of Affairs within a Legal 500 Private Client team
- Up to 50% home working, flexible core hours and a long-term paralegal progression pathway
If you’re an experienced Legal Assistant, Secretary, Administrator or Paralegal looking to build a long-term career within Private Client, this York opportunity offers far more responsibility than a traditional support role.
You’ll specialise in Administration of Affairs, working closely with senior lawyers and Directors on matters where the firm acts as Attorney, Deputy, Trustee or Fiduciary. You’ll initially receive plenty of support, before gradually developing your own caseload and becoming a trusted point of contact for clients, families and care providers.
The work combines legal and financial administration with meaningful client contact, often supporting vulnerable people and their families. Longer term, you’ll have the opportunity to develop niche expertise, take on increasingly complex work and progress through a dedicated paralegal career pathway.
This role is designed for someone who wants to build their career as a specialist paralegal rather than use the position as a short-term stepping stone towards a Training Contract or qualification.
