You’ll inherit a well-managed caseload from the outset, allowing you to get straight into quality Private Client work while being supported by an experienced team. Collaboration is a big part of the culture, with colleagues readily available to share ideas and offer support whenever needed.

The work is broad and varied, covering everything from wills, probate and estate administration through to trusts, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.

This is a firm that trusts its people. You’ll be given the freedom to run your own caseload without unnecessary oversight. If you’re keen to continue developing your expertise, the firm will also support you in working towards your STEP qualification.

Who we’re looking for

  • Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years’ Private Client experience
  • Experience managing a Private Client caseload independently
  • Strong knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs and estate administration
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Collaborative and approachable
  • Interest in business development (desirable)


What you’ll be doing

  • Managing your own varied Private Client caseload
  • Advising clients on wills, probate, estate administration and LPAs
  • Handling trust administration and tax-related matters
  • Managing Court of Protection applications and deputyship work where appropriate
  • Advising elderly and vulnerable clients on their affairs
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Contributing to business development activities where appropriate
