This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established private client team in Stockport that continues to grow.
You’ll be joining a settled and supportive team made up of experienced solicitors, junior lawyers and dedicated support staff, with plenty of good-quality work readily available. The role offers real autonomy over your caseload, alongside senior support where needed, and the chance to play a key part in developing more junior members of the team.

Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE
- Strong experience handling Wills and Probate matters independently
- Comfortable running a full caseload with minimal supervision
- Willingness to support and mentor junior team members (Desired)
- STEP qualified or keen to work towards STEP (Desired)
- Professional, approachable and collaborative in style
What you’ll be doing
- Managing your own caseload of Wills and Probate work autonomously
- Advising clients with clarity, care and professionalism
- Supporting more junior members of the team alongside the Head of Department
- Maintaining high standards of client care and compliance
- Contributing to the continued development of the private client offering
