Private Client Solicitor

Apply now
  • High-calibre HNW work without the city-centre commute
  • No individual billing targets, genuinely collaborative team culture
  • Strong pipeline of work with real progression and autonomy from day one

This Private Client role is based in Cheshire and sits within a small, high-performing team that’s already generating significant revenue and consistently attracting high-quality work.

You’ll be joining at a point where the team is busy and growing, with more work than they can comfortably handle. From day one, you’ll step into an active caseload and play a key role in easing pressure across the team, not firefighting, but contributing to a well-run, high-quality service.

In the first 6–12 months, you’ll be trusted to run your own matters while working closely with senior colleagues on more complex cases. The work is predominantly HNW and UHNW, offering exposure you’d typically expect in a larger firm, but within a more personal, less corporate environment.

Longer term, there’s real scope to shape your role, whether that’s deepening your technical expertise, supporting junior team members or stepping into a more senior position as the team continues to grow. With planned hires and natural movement in the team, progression isn’t blocked; it’s expected.

The culture is collaborative and down-to-earth. There’s no hierarchy for the sake of it, no micromanagement and no long-hours culture. Everyone works together on matters, shares knowledge and supports each other, creating a genuinely team-driven environment.

Who we’re looking for

  • 3–10 PQE Private Client Solicitor
  • Currently managing your own private client caseload
  • Experience across wills, probate and estate administration
  • Interest in developing HNW expertise if not already gained
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team
  • Ambitious but grounded, keen to grow without a corporate environment
  • Exposure to HNW/UHNW work (Desired)

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing your own private client caseload
  • Advising on wills, probate, estate administration and related matters
  • Working on HNW and UHNW cases, often alongside senior colleagues
  • Collaborating with the wider team on complex matters
  • Supporting junior team members where appropriate
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the team

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary with yearly pay reviews
  • Generous bonus structure
  • No individual billing targets, team-focused approach
  • Strong work/life balance, no long-hours culture
  • High-quality HNW work typically seen in larger firms
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Ongoing learning and development support
  • Modern, forward-thinking firm embracing technology and AI
  • Flexible working with option to work in other offices locations 1 day per week
