Private Client Solicitor

Not every private client role asks you to build from scratch or arrive with a ready-made following.
This one gives you a strong platform from day one: existing work, internal referrals and a collaborative team already in place. The firm has a long history of advising agricultural clients, family businesses and commercial clients, which creates a different quality of private client work from the typical high-street wills bank model.
You’ll manage a varied caseload of wills, probate and LPAs, with scope to develop further across trusts, estate planning and agricultural private client work depending on your experience. You’ll work alongside another solicitor at a similar level, with senior technical support available when needed.
The culture is collaborative, supportive and built around a “one firm” approach. You’ll be trusted to manage your work with autonomy, while still being part of a wider team that shares knowledge, referrals and client relationships.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Private Client Solicitor
- Experience handling wills, probate and LPAs
- Able to manage your own caseload confidently
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Collaborative, reliable and team-oriented
- Trusts, estate planning, Court of Protection or agricultural client experience would be useful but not essential
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a varied private client caseload
- Advising on wills, LPAs, probate and estate administration
- Supporting more complex matters where appropriate
- Building relationships with internal commercial and agricultural teams
- Working closely with an existing private client solicitor
- Contributing to the team’s long-term growth without heavy BD pressure
