Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 3+ years’ Residential Conveyancing experience (Essential)
- Experience managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload independently, including freehold, leasehold and new build matters
- Proven track record of achieving consistent monthly billings
- Experience dealing with developers, estate agents and referral relationships
- Experience supervising or mentoring an assistant or junior colleague
- Familiarity with Proclaim case management software
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent client care skills
- Adaptable, approachable and resilient, with a collaborative mindset
What you’ll be doing
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Title investigations and defect resolution
- Building and maintaining relationships with estate agents and developers
- Attending networking events and supporting business development activity
- Supervising and mentoring your own legal assistant
- Maintaining high standards of compliance, file management and client care
- Contributing ideas to improve processes and workflows within the department
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £45,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates
