Serious Injury Team Leader

Apply now
  • Lead a team handling life-changing serious injury claims while continuing to run your own high-value caseload
  • Develop junior lawyers without stepping away from the complex legal work you enjoy
  • Hybrid working, bonus scheme and a genuine pathway into senior leadership

For many experienced serious injury lawyers, progression comes with a compromise.

From complex brain and spinal injuries to fatal accidents and other life-changing cases, you’ll remain closely involved in the work that makes a real difference to clients.

Initially, your focus will be on getting to know the team, building relationships and understanding how the department operates. You’ll continue progressing your own files while becoming a trusted source of technical guidance, helping colleagues navigate challenging liability issues, litigation strategy and quantum.

As your confidence in the leadership side of the role grows, you’ll have increasing influence over how the team develops. You’ll mentor junior lawyers, support quality standards, contribute to performance and help shape the future of the department, all while remaining hands-on with your own complex caseload.

It’s an opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others succeed but doesn’t want to sacrifice the technical work that has built their career.
