We’re excited to announce that four members of the Realm team are finalists at this year’s Made in Manchester Awards. After our most successful year to date and a period of significant growth, it is fantastic to see that the achievements of employees from all divisions have been recognised by pro-Manchester. We were also delighted to discover that no other firm has been recognised for more awards than Realm, with only one other company also shortlisted in 3 categories.
Rebecca Hopwood our Office Manager is shortlisted for the Business Support Professional Award, Duane Cormell our Director is shortlisted for Business Owner/Entrepreneur of the Year and Katherine Memery our Senior Marketing & PR Executive is shortlisted for the Marketing Professional of the Year Award.
Rebecca joined the Realm team at the start of 2017 as an administrator and since then has progressed to the role of Office Manager and HR Lead. Rebecca is invaluable to the day-to-day smooth running of the business and helps the team with numerous tasks including driving wellbeing initiatives, onboarding new employees, heaps of correspondence, arranging team events, creating management data spreadsheets, and creating our Employee Handbook.
Duane is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Realm Recruit. Duane set up Realm in 2015 with the aim of developing careers and sustainably growing law firms through a refreshing, values-driven approach to legal recruitment. Since moving to recruitment after obtaining a degree in Law, Duane has amassed more than 10 years’ legal recruitment experience and uses that knowledge to help law firms, lawyers, and aspiring lawyers alike.
Katherine joined the team at Realm in 2016, and was originally singlehandedly being responsible for all of our marketing, social media and PR activity. This year due to the exponential growth the marketing team has now expanded from 1 to 5 and Katherine has been instrumental in ensuring new team members are looked after whilst maintaining and growing the Realm Recruit brand.
Everyone at Realm has been performing at the top of their game and we are thrilled to see the hard work of our team recognised externally. It is our mission to provide an exceptional level of service to both lawyers and law firms. Over the last 12 months, we are proud we have continued to do so and we are looking forward to seeing what we can achieve as a business in 2022.
