A huge congratulations to Principal Consultant Paula Pawlowska who last Thursday was named ‘Recruitment Professional of the Year’ at the prestigious Made in Manchester Awards.
The Made in Manchester Awards (or MIMAs, as they are affectionately known) are held each year by pro-manchester to recognise talented young professionals from across the city. They celebrate individuals and businesses from a range of different sectors, including the law, marketing and finance.
This year, the ceremony was, of course, very different and held over Zoom. Nevertheless, the Realm team tuned in virtually to support Paula, and our Office Manager Becci, who was also nominated.
The recruitment category is always hotly contested and 2021 was no different. However, as a result of Paula’s exceptional hard work and commitment to her job over the last 12 months, she wowed the judges and was crowned the very deserving winner.
Paula joined Realm in 2017 as a graduate and has worked her way up to become a Principal Consultant and a family law recruitment specialist.
In the last 12 months, she has continued to build her profile, co-hosted Realm’s first podcast Refreshing Chats with Family Lawyers, spearheaded a research piece on flexible and remote working and achieved her strongest billing month to-date.
Her win at the MIMAs, comes just 5 months after she was named the winner of the recruitment category at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards.
After discovering that she had won, Paula said:
“It means so much to me to win this award, it’s a great acknowledgement of all the hard work I’ve been putting in and will continue to put in, particularly given the difficult year we’ve just had.
I’m incredibly proud of myself, it really does mean a lot. Not just to me, but to my family and I’m sure my Nana won’t stop going on about it too! Thank you so much!”
