We’re excited to announce that Realm are finalists in a record four categories at this year’s Manchester Young Talent Awards (MYTAS).
Two of our senior consultants, Joe Shenton and Paula Pawlowska are up for the award for Talent and Recruiter of the Year, while our Marketing and PR Executive Katherine Memery has been nominated in the category for Marketing and PR Professional of the Year. Lastly, for the second year in a row, we are finalists in the Team of the Year category.
The MYTAs are held each year by JCI Manchester to recognise the hard work of the very best of Manchester’s young business talent across a range of sectors, including property, law, finance and marketing. On 14th November, the winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at The Midland in Manchester city centre.
Joe joined Realm as a trainee recruiter in May 2016. He quickly progressed through our comprehensive training programme and within a matter of months was promoted to consultant. Over the last three years, he has specialised in the recruitment of personal injury and insurance lawyers in the North West. Joe has really made a name for himself within these niches and in July 2019, he was promoted to Senior Consultant. While this is the first time Joe has been nominated for an MYTA, in 2018 he won an Insider Young Professionals Award for Recruitment Professional of the Year.
Paula joined Realm in September 2017 shortly after completing her Master of Laws at the University of Manchester. While she has just under two years of legal recruitment experience, she has emerged as a go-to recruiter for a number of family solicitors across Manchester, Cheshire and the West Midlands. In recognition of her hard work and dedication to both her candidates and clients, Paula was promoted to Senior Consultant this summer.
Since joining us over three years ago, Katherine has singlehandedly managed all of our marketing, social media and PR activity and has been instrumental in building the Realm Recruit brand. While she has been responsible for writing all of our awards entries since 2016, this is the first time she has been nominated herself.
While we narrowly missed out on the Team award at last year’s MYTAs, we’re thrilled to be nominated again in 2019. Over the last 18 months, we have worked together to overhaul our service offering and narrow our focus so that we can provide an exceptional level of service to both lawyers and law firms.
After learning about our nominations, director Duane said:
“The last 12 months at Realm have been our best ever and I’m so proud of the entire team. It’s fantastic to have our achievements recognised externally and I’m looking forward to celebrating this year’s success with the team in November!”
The full shortlist can be found on the MYTA website.
