This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1–6 PQE) to join a specialist team based in Salford.
The firm is known for taking a holistic approach to client care, focusing not just on compensation but also on securing early access to rehabilitation for clients who have experienced life-changing injuries. You’ll work on a varied and meaningful caseload including complex clinical negligence matters.
This role would suit a solicitor looking to take the next step in their career and take ownership of high-quality work within a supportive and collaborative team.
Who we’re looking for
- Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 1–6 years PQE
- Strong experience managing clinical negligence or personal injury cases
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with appropriate support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Empathetic approach when working with clients
- Understanding of GDPR and Anti-Money Laundering requirements
- Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction to resolution
- Working on complex and high-value matters including brain injury, spinal injury and fatal cases
- Reviewing medical records and evaluating liability
- Preparing schedules of loss and estimating claim values
- Negotiating with defendants and third parties
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
- Providing clear and compassionate updates to clients throughout their case
- Participating in conferences, training and internal team meetings
- Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development
- Taking part in networking and fundraising initiatives for the firm’s partner charities
