Who we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal or within a professional services support role (Essential)
- Experience supporting Corporate or Commercial work
- Relevant legal qualification
- Strong IT skills, including document management systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent audio typing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional, proactive and reliable approach
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine desire to contribute to the wider team
What you’ll be doing
- Working one-to-one with an experienced Corporate Director
- Supporting a varied Corporate and Commercial caseload, including:
- Business transactions
- Commercial agreements
- General corporate matters
- Opening new files and managing client onboarding
- Drafting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Audio typing and document production
- Managing diaries, meetings and appointments
- Liaising professionally with clients and third parties
- Assisting with billing, invoices and financial administration
- Maintaining the firm’s practice management system and ensuring file compliance
- Supporting the wider team where required while maintaining strict confidentiality
