Who we’re looking for

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal or within a professional services support role (Essential)
  • Experience supporting Corporate or Commercial work
  • Relevant legal qualification
  • Strong IT skills, including document management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent audio typing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professional, proactive and reliable approach
  • Collaborative mindset with a genuine desire to contribute to the wider team


What you’ll be doing

  • Working one-to-one with an experienced Corporate Director
  • Supporting a varied Corporate and Commercial caseload, including:
    • Business transactions
    • Commercial agreements
    • General corporate matters
  • Opening new files and managing client onboarding
  • Drafting and amending legal documents and correspondence
  • Audio typing and document production
  • Managing diaries, meetings and appointments
  • Liaising professionally with clients and third parties
  • Assisting with billing, invoices and financial administration
  • Maintaining the firm’s practice management system and ensuring file compliance
  • Supporting the wider team where required while maintaining strict confidentiality
