You’ll become part of a specialist Court of Protection department handling high-level Property & Affairs matters for vulnerable clients. Managing your own caseload with the support of experienced solicitors and paralegals, you’ll advise on complex and strategic issues while delivering the highest standards of client care.

You’ll have the opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of the team. Alongside your own caseload, you’ll support the supervision and mentoring of junior colleagues, contribute to business development and help strengthen the department’s reputation in the market.

Who we’re looking for

• Solicitor or FCILEx with 8+ years’ experience in Court of Protection
• Extensive experience managing a complex Court of Protection Property & Affairs caseload
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience handling high-level and strategic Court of Protection matters
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (preferred)
• Interest in business development and supporting the growth of the department

What you’ll be doing

• Managing your own Court of Protection Property & Affairs caseload
• Advising clients on complex and strategic Court of Protection matters
• Delivering exceptional client care and practical legal advice
• Working collaboratively with solicitors and paralegals across the department
• Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
• Supporting the continued development and marketing of the Court of Protection team
• Maintaining the highest professional and compliance standards
