Head of Insolvency │ Uncapped Salary │ Fully Remote │ Progression Opportunity

We are partnering with our client on this rare opportunity for an Insolvency Partner or Senior Associate to step up into a Head of Department role, or for an existing Head of Department looking to achieve increased flexibility.  

You’ll head up and grow your own insolvency team within this Legal 500 firm based in Liverpool, but could work fully remotely if you wish. 

The firm already has a bit of a following and an existing caseload, so you’ll be advising an existing client base of insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, bridging lenders, trustees in bankruptcy, directors/shareholders and high net worth individuals — but, as you would expect in such a senior role, the ability to generate work from a client/referrer following will also be required.  

You’ll therefore have strong business development skills, alongside a technical skillset encompassing contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. 

You’ll have an uncapped salary, which will be calculated based on fees generated multiplied by three, plus a bonus of 10% of departmental profits, paid monthly.  

This insolvency department is already Highly Recommended in the Legal 500, so you’ll have a great foundation to build on in terms of market awareness and perception.  

The firm itself is a modern, full-service, city centre offering, with corporate and debt recovery departments, so there will be plenty of opportunities for generating cross-referred work from other teams.
