International Serious Injury Solicitor
Hot Job
- £50,000–£60,000 plus bonus, with typically just 1–2 days per week in the Manchester office
- Retraining opportunity for Claimant or Defendant Serious Injury Solicitors looking to specialise in international litigation
- Join a Chambers Band 1 team handling complex, high-value cases involving challenging questions of jurisdiction and applicable law
If you’re a Serious Injury Solicitor looking for a technical challenge beyond conventional UK litigation, this role gives you the opportunity to add an international dimension to your expertise.
You’ll join a nationally recognised team handling complex, high-value claims involving serious and catastrophic injuries across borders. The work regularly raises challenging questions around jurisdiction, applicable law and liability, with cases that can test the boundaries of existing law.
You don’t need previous international litigation experience. Strong multi-track Serious Injury experience from either a Claimant or Defendant background is the priority, with structured training and supervision provided as you learn the complexities of cross-border claims. You’ll initially adopt an existing caseload before gradually taking responsibility for international matters from start to finish.
The role has become available following an internal progression, and you’ll work directly with an experienced senior international injury specialist. Longer term, there’s plenty of scope to deepen your specialism and progress within a growing team.
