A well-established Legal 500 firm is continuing to grow its Private Client offering and is looking for a Solicitor to join its Liverpool team. There’s already plenty of work coming into the department, so you won’t be expected to arrive with a following or generate your own caseload.
Instead, you’ll be able to concentrate on delivering excellent advice while developing your expertise across a genuinely broad range of Private Client matters.
You’ll be trusted to manage your caseload autonomously, while still having access to support and training whenever you need it. You’ll also work with a varied client base, including local families, business owners and agricultural clients, giving you exposure to matters you might not encounter in a more narrowly focused Private Client role.
With a relatively small team, good work gets noticed. For ambitious lawyers, there’s a genuine opportunity to progress through the firm without navigating layers of hierarchy or waiting behind a long queue of people for your next step.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Private Client Solicitor (2-4PQE)
- Experience managing your own Private Client caseload
- Experience across a range of wills, probate and estate matters
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with the wider team
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Confidence dealing with sensitive and complex matters
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Trusts and/or Court of Protection experience (Desired)
- Agricultural Private Client experience (Desired)
- Ambition to continue developing technically and progress your career (Desired)

- Managing your own Private Client caseload
- Advising on wills and estate planning
- Handling probate and estate administration
- Working on complex wills
- Advising on trusts
- Handling Court of Protection matters
- Supporting business owners and agricultural clients
- Building long-term client relationships
- Working autonomously with senior support available
- Developing experience across the full Private Client spectrum
