  • Join a growing Residential Property team with genuine opportunities to build a long-term legal career
  • Hybrid working after probation, excellent benefits and a people-first culture that puts work-life balance first with support from the Happy Hours Policy
  • Work closely with an experienced conveyancer in a supportive team where progression is earned, encouraged and genuinely achievable

If you’re looking for a Residential Property Legal Assistant role where you can build a career rather than simply gain experience, this could be exactly what you’re looking for.

You’ll join one of the firm’s largest and most successful departments, supporting a busy Residential Property team that’s playing a key role in the firm’s continued growth.
Working closely with an experienced conveyancer in your own mini team, you’ll become an integral part of the conveyancing process, helping to keep matters progressing smoothly while building your own technical knowledge and confidence.

This is a firm that believes there’s real value in long-term careers. You’ll be encouraged to progress, whether that’s through further qualifications or taking the next step into a paralegal or fee-earning role, but there’s equal emphasis on becoming excellent at your current role first. Many of the firm’s senior leaders started their careers in junior positions, creating a culture where development is genuinely lived rather than simply talked about.

You’ll be trusted from the outset to support a varied residential conveyancing caseload, developing strong relationships with colleagues and clients while becoming an important part of a close-knit, collaborative team. Regular appraisals focus on your future ambitions and the practical steps needed to help you achieve them.

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within Residential Conveyancing (Essential)
  • Good understanding of residential conveyancing processes
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Proactive, commercially aware and keen to get involved
  • A collaborative team player looking to build a long-term career

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day support to an experienced Residential Conveyancer
  • Assisting with the progression of residential conveyancing matters
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients and third parties
  • Managing files and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing administrative and matter management support throughout the conveyancing process
  • Working closely within a dedicated mini team to deliver an excellent client experience

Salary & Benefits

  • Hybrid working (up to 2 days from home after probation)
  • Enhanced sick pay

  • Happy Hours leave allowance (12 hours of paid leave each year to start later or finish earlier)
  • Pension
  • Free legal services
  • Discounted legal services for family members

  • Genuine long-term progression and support with future qualifications
